WHENEVER you get up from your easy chair, you feel like the room is spinning and you have to sit down again. You could be suffering from postural hypotension.
- Check your medication. If you take something for high blood pressure, it could be creating the problem.
- Take your time getting up, count to 60 as you get up slowly.
- If you have been sitting or lying down for long time, move your legs before you try standing to get the blood circulation.
- Try elastic stocking, as they may increase blood flow from the extremities.
