MENIERE’S DISEASE Solution

MENIERE’S DISEASE Solution & Example

You are suddenly dizzy, you can’t hear and there is a ringing in your ears.

You feel nauseated and sometimes feel so sick you have no vomit. Miniere’s disease has struck.

  • Since allergies with watery eyes and runny nose, can be a part of the problem, an antihistamine can reduce the pressure in the ear.
  • Reduce sodium intake, particularly for women during the premenstrual period, can be beneficial.
  • Avoid caffeine, salt, sugar and alcohol as they all raise blood pressure and increase fluid to the ear.
  • Stop smoking. Nicotine decreases the size of blood vessels and increases blood pressure.
  • Be calm: these attacks usually only last for one day.
