NECK PAIN SOLUTION

We all know that the boss is a pain – in – the neck, but a REAL pain in the neck can be even worse.

Some individuals are more at risk than others. If you work requires you to stay in a bent over position or desk is the wrong height, you could heading for neck trouble.

  • Apply ice at the end of the day for about 20 minutes while you relax.
  • Over – the – counter anti inflammatory such as aspirin or ibuprofen can reduce pain and inflammation.
  • Get a chair that supports you properly with correct posture.
  • A small towel rolled up and placed in the small of your back will aid in aligning your spine and give you additional support.
  • Get up and walk around, swing your arms and give your neck a rest.
  • Keep your head level with your chin pulled in.
  • Sleep on a correct mattress and don’t sleep on your stomach with your head turned to one side.
  • If you are working on computer, adjust your seat so that the screen is at eye level.
  • Learn some relaxation technique and use them throughout the day.
