NIGHT BLINDNESS SOLUTION

NIGHT BLINDNESS SOLUTION

As you feel for your way to find your seat in a darkened theatre, you know what it feels like to have night blindness. If you still can’t see after about five minutes, then perhaps you have reason for concern, particularly if you drove to get there.

NIGHT BLINDNESS SYMPTOMS
  • Increase your vitamin a – see your doctor for the correct dosage.
  • Clean off the windscreen and headlights to give you as much visibility advantage as possible.
  • Slow down – you can react to unexpected hazards more easily if you aren’t going too fast.
  • If the weather is really bad, with fog and rain or sleet, pull off to the side of the road and wait for better visibility.
  • If night blindness becomes a serious problem, leave early enough to be sure you only drive in the daytime or ask someone else to do the driving.
