Oily skin is genetic and your hormones are central to the kind of skin you will have. Pregnancy and some birth control pills can make your oil glands go haywire.
- Use a clay or mud mask, as it will absorb excess oil temporarily.
- Wash regularly with hot water and a good soap. But don’t scrub; you will only stimulate the oil glands.
- After washing, use a toner to return your skin to its proper pH.
- Select cosmetic that are water based not oil based.
- Apply powder over your entire face to set your make – up and absorb oil during the day.
