Morning sickness unfortunately, can happen at any time of the day – or night. Typically, morning sickness begins about the sixth week of pregnancy when the placenta begins to produce a special pregnancy hormone. Thankfully, most women feel better by week 8 to 13.
- Avoid fried, fatty foods. Your body takes longer to digest fats.
- Eat small meals, including fruits sugar such as grapes and juice - it will keep your blood sugar stable.
- Keep something at the bedside because moving with empty stomach increase nausea.
- Drinks lots of water to keep your electrolytes in balance.
- Sip ginger ale. It will aid in settling your stomach.
- A cup of chamomile tea will also settle your stomach.
- Keep calm. The sickness will pass and you will feel better.
