ANGER Control Tips

You yell, you throw things, you break good china. Sometimes you nag. Sometimes you cry uncontrollably, you are just SO angry.

  • Count to 10 and take some deep breaths.
  • Take a walk, particularly if you feel you want to hit someone.
  • Try to discuss it calmly, once you have calmed down.
  • Listen to music, do the multiplication table in your head, anything that will distract you, when you cannot do anything about thing that angers you. Cursing and yelling at other drivers only keeps you agitated.
