- 2 mg daily of vitamin B6 seems to be beneficial – but be ready to wait for 12 weeks or more before you see any improvement. Do not exceed this dosage, as B6 is toxic to high dosages.
- While you are waiting for the B6 to do its work, begin some gentle exercise for the hands and wrists. Rotate the hand around in gentle circle to stimulate circulation to the injured area. Raise your arm above your head and rotate both the arm and the wrist. This improves the circulation to the shoulder, neck the upper back.
- Take a break. If you are working long hours at any task, take a few minutes away from the work and turn your head and shrug your shoulders.
- Use ice for 20 minutes at a time to decrease the inflammation.
